HOW WE GOT HERE

Once upon a time, I had a blog. I kept up with it religiously to document my experience working at a high school in Detroit and my weight loss journey. I eventually quit said blog, and started a podcast called Shine A Light to tell real stories of real issues- mental health, autism, grief, etc. But my true passion is and always has been writing. So I'm back in the blog world, publishing thoughts while I take writing classes to improve. I still ache to tell stories about things that matter. Thanks for stopping by.
